Black screen while using Adobe XD desktop preview (Prototype mode)

Hi,

In Prototype mode I did some links in my project and when I am trying to see them in Desktop preview it shows only black screen with horizontal line.

Same problem without extended monitor and with extended monitor.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you're having trouble in desktop preview  in XD. Basically black screen appears in preview window becuase of the different size artboards. The white line in the preview window might be because of the viewport height value, so make sure your viewport height value is equal to height the artboard  I'd request if you can share a few more details like:

1. The version of XD.
2. The version of Mac or Win  which you are using.
3. If it is happening with a specific file or multiple files, will it be possible for you to share the file with us?
4. What is the size of the artboard you are using.
5. Is it possible to share a video of your workflow which you are working on so it will be useful to reproduce the issue from our end. Tried to reproduce your issue from our end on latest XD version-45.1.62 on WIN 10 machine but the Issue was not reproducible, so please share the above mentioned  details.

Hi,

I have this info:

Windows10  v-19043.1348.

XD v-45.1.62.

Artboard size - w.1400, h-7510.

Using:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, 4 GB.

Ram 24 Gb.

And I work only with one project right now.

Hi There,

Sorry for delay in repsonse and Thank you for sharing the requested details with us. After looking in to the video ,I see you are using artboard with viewport value: '7' and Artboard size - width: 1400, height: 7510 becuase of which you are seeing white line in the preview window so can you please change the viewport height value same as of artboard height i,e 7510. and then try to preview the artboard.Hope it helps!.
