BUG: Grey artboard screen when switching displays or hdmi

New Here ,
Apr 05, 2019 Apr 05, 2019

If i have an open file and move it from my desktop screen to my thunderbolt screen or project using hdmi the artboard goes grey. Restarting Xd resolves the issue, but it's pretty annoying, just did the most recent update on both ios and Xd.Screen Shot 2019-04-05 at 3.20.01 PM.png

Hi Williamt,

Thanks for the sharing the screenshot. We are already tracking this bug with Apple, if it is possible, could you please try OS X10.14.5 beta 1 (the macOS prerelease seed) and let us know how that goes.

Thanks,

Atul_Saini

I'm still having this issue. Any ETA on it getting fixed or other solutions? I am unable to use OS x10.14.5 beta 1 as this computer is managed by an IT dept.

Hi Johnsonjpj,

Sorry that you're still experiencing this issue. Here is some more information about this issue: - Adobe XD crashes, unstable, or displays rendering artifacts in macOS 10.14.4.

Thanks,

Instead of restarting XD, would Cmd + 0 work?

And this is still happening months later.

Seriously one of the most annoying, DAILY bugs I deal with that interferes with my workflow.

Adobe, how can this possibly be taking this long to fix? I am seriously getting to a point of moving on to Sketch. I'm tired of XD playing catch up with basic features and the seemingly lack of effort in fixing MAJOR bugs...

LATEST

Have you updated to the latest build of Mojave? macOS 10.14.5 was released a while back.
