Can I lose my shared documents? (linked to another account)

Some projects are shared from another account (colleague), his account will be removed. So I want to be sure that all the shared files won't be delete also. Do they always stay in the cloud somehow? Or do I need to download the 1 by 1, to be sure I am not losing them?

Thanks for your answer! Then I'll be downloading them one-by-one, which is pretty time consuming... Or is there a possibility to download them by selecting multiple files?

*Couldn't find that option in the adobe web environment or the application itself...
