Can't drag and drop images into XD on Mac

I'm on a Macbook Pro 2019 and I can't drag and drop images from the finder onto an Artboard. Seems like I'm missing something simple, but the UI isn't intuitive to tell me what's wrong. I can't drag onto a plain artboard, and I can't drag into an existing image to replace it. And, the replace image command isn't working either. Seems like the artboard is locked or something...? Images are PNG, JPG - none of them work.

Hi @dcedave ,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. This generally happens because of limited permission so please grant Adobe XD Full Disc Access. To do that please navigate to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Full Disc Access. After unlocking, please add Adobe XD and then restart XD. Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks
