Cannot CMD+Z or undo in XD

Very concerning issue where cmd+Z and undo become disabled in the middle of working on my XD file. This is not the first time this has hapepend. I was able to fix the issue by closing the file and relaunching XD. But what if I had acccidnetlly deleted all my artboards and then couldn't undo? Very concerning.
