Cannot update link for both online and offline file

We have a collaborative online file that couldn't be opened a few months ago, and then we have to save the file as a local file so that we can maintain the same link. Yesterday, the local file could not update the link, and neither cannot create a new link. How can we resolve the problem? We need to keep the same XD link.

Are you getting an error while updating, or don't see the link at all? How are you keeping it in sync between the two of you? Collaboration is only available on Cloud files I believe.
