Do you really need a dedicated graphics card for Adobe XD?

Considering buying the Macbook 13 with integrated graphics and wondering if it's gonna be good enough

That page mentions nothing of graphics card requirements.

If they required a dedicated graphics card, they would say so. It will work with integrated graphics cards, but I'm not surprised that it would use dedicated graphics card if it can. I have used XD on older Mac Minis with Intel Iris Graphics. Those are slow machines by today's standards, but XD runs as I'd expect on that machine. It depends on how heavy your files are though, which I have not stress tested. My guess is any modern Mac should be fine.

Hi Ivoi,

Thanks for choosing Adobe XD. In order to get Adobe XD to install on your machine, please check the system requirements mentioned in this link: -  Adobe XD System requirements.

Please feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance.

Thanks,

Hi, thank you for the answer.

That page mentions nothing of graphics card requirements.

On my current MacBook Pro 15" AdobeXD is using my dedicated Radeon 560 Graphics card wheneever it's on.

That's why I'm asking if it needs dedicated graphics not to lag and have a smooth workflow or will Intel's integrated Iris 655 be enough.
