Design Specs - URL

It's a very good thing that I'm able to provide developers with the URL to my Design Spec page without them having to have an Adobe ID, but one of the developers were asking me how secure that is. In theory that address is open for all to see, right? Cause I never had to invite the developer as a collaborator or anything, I'm just sending the link directly to the Design Specs page via copy and paste.

This feature has been introduced in the latest version of Adobe XD. This info is for other users that may be visiting this thread in the future.

Publish your prototype and/or design spec and share it with stakeholders by providing a web link.

    Thanks,

    Hi perrybrus,

I hear you. The team is working towards a more secure way of sharing files. However, in my opinion, the chances of the file falling into wrong hands without your control is pretty limited as long as you are sharing with trusted sources.

The team visits the forum regularly, and I am open to correction if I have misstated something.

    Thanks,

    Preran

On the same topic I found this: Publish your prototype and/or design spec and share it with stakeholders by providing a web link.

On the reviewer workflow it says: "Reviewers need to sign in to view a prototype using an Adobe ID or as a guest. (This information is obviously not current) if the prototype is protected by a password, you also need to enter the password to view the prototype."

How do I protect the shared page with password? Can't see any option like that in XD.
