Dosen't Adobe XD support color transition?

I expected the color of that button to change slowly. However, the color suddenly changes when it reaches a certain area.

Obviously, I used "Auto-Animate".

Colour is one of the properties not supported by auto-animate:

You may get something closer with placing a button on top and animate the opacity and shape.
