Error 47 -while opening a file created in version 23 on XD 24 on mac book pro.

Hi, 

I've been working on a big project in XD for 4 months now. My problem is when I update XD from version 23 to any version of 24 my file wont open, I get error 47 and it closes down immediately. I can only get the file to open by going back to version 23. 

My worry now is I have 4 months work that I'm worried I might lose if version 23 dissapears from creative cloud and I accidently update to version 24.  

I'm on a mac book pro with a full version of CC. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
