Error while installing plugin in XD 'Compatible App Required'

Hi, do you have any idea why I cannot download Adobe XD plugin? It prompt out "Compatible app required". My XD version is 56.1.12.1. Thank you

Hi,

1) i'd upgrade XD to ver.57.1 as show in attachment

2) my computer meet all the requirement

3) all XD plugin the same problem, but other software's plugin (eg. photoshop/illustrator) is able to download.

4) tried several time but still same.

i have a this issue in a latest version of xd which is 57.1.2 and this error is only for adobe xd plugins not others

Hi all,
2025 now and I have the same issue!
I can't install any plugin for XD.
After having changes my Adobe profil, I saw that 'Zeplin for XD' plugin disappeared.
I wanted to install it again... no way!!!
Adobe support tells me it was Zeplin fault but it's the same for all the others XD plugin...
I contacted Zeplin support that tells me that the plugin is fully functional with XD.
Who can I trust?

Odds are they was an API change in the plug-in system, and none of the XD plugin developers bothered to invest time and money to update them. Given the XD is in maintaince mode, I don't blame them. I doubt this issue will acutally be solved.

this problem has not been solved for a long time. I thank Adobe xd for this bug that made me switch to figma and I am very happy.
