Export full frame dimension in Adobe XD

Hi,

I'd like to export a bunch of components. Currently doing so gives me an image for each that is the size of the component itself. My requirement is that each component be exported as a layer that is the same dimensions as the canvas i am working on. So, if the component is only a square of size 100x100, i still want an image of my canvas size, let's say 200x200px, for every selected component. I am trying to create images that will simply be overlaid on top of each other, much like the layers in the program itself, to create a frame. Is this possible, without attaching a transparent rectangle the size of my canvas to every single component in my system?

Do you mean you want to export artboards? If so File > Export > All Artboards... or Selected...

Hi Lewis,

Thank you for reaching out. If I heard you right, you're trying to export the size of the image as the same size as the canvas. As you mentioned in your example, that you have a size of component 100*100 and you want to export at a size of 200*200. So what you can try is to either create a component of 200*200 as the same size as the canvas. Otherwise, you can also export the designed at 2x as shown in the screenshot below:

Please let me know if that answers your question.

Thanks,

Harshika

That's not quite what i am after. I want each image exported to be the size of the canvas. Is there a way to do this without attaching a rectangle the same size as the canvas to the component and exporting it? so if i have a single element layer on my canvas, and i highlight the element (e.g. a circle i have drawn), and i want to export that element, i don't want the circle in a .png to be produced (at whatever size the circle is), i want the circle inside of the canvas to be produced. this woulds always be an image of the canvas size, but a single layer.
