Extra pixel when exporting PNGs in XD.

Hi,

I'm building email mockups in XD. When I export some of the assets there's always an extra pixel added. I haven't been able to find a post about this that refers specifically to XD, I've only seen Photoshop and Illustrator solutions.

What are some solutions I can try for XD? I don't want to have to trim each asset in Photoshop everytime (which is what I'm forced to do now). I switched from building the mockups in Photoshop to XD for the efficiency. It's weird because I JUST started experiencing this, it hasn't been an issue until the past two or so weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Harshika,

Thanks for reaching outI actually JUST solved the problem. I had a drop
shadow on the Photo Credits (circled below) that were on the images so it
was adding an extra pixel to the right side. I changed the blur from 7 to 1
and that solved the problem!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and using Adobe XD. We would like to know a few more details like-

  • What is yor workflow of exporting the PNG into XD? From where you are exporting the PNG into XD?
  • What is the OS and XD version of your machine?
  • Could you please share the screenshot of the extra pixel for better understanding?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
