My main question is: Prototype of what?

Once this goes out in svg, in iOS format, is it meant to end up in an Xcode project?

It doesn't seem like it really makes a compiled app, per se, just an image.

Adobe Experience Design is not a development tool, but rather a tool that allows you to create the visual designs of your project, prototype some of the interactions of it, then export the design assets out to be used by the development team.

It will not generate code that can be compiled into a mobile app, or a web app.
