So I make a component with a hover state, for some unknown reason the hover state is not working when viewing the prototype.
I recreate it the component again. EXACTLY THE SAME as the previous one. Now it works.
I have to keep making things several times before they work as they are meant to. Why is this?

It gets worse. So After I recreate my component it works for a while.
Suddenly it stops working again.
I recreate it again, it works.
I make 3 instances, 2 work one doesn't.
I'm having to build everything several times before it works and when it does I can't trust it to stay like that!

Can you describe the steps how you create component and interactions to better understand you problem. Thank you

I create a component by pressing ctrl+k, i dont add any interactions, i just create a hover state. Out of three instances of the same component with no overrides one fails to work...

Hi Mowglivj, thank you for reaching out and sharing the details Ares asked for.
In addition, I'd like to know if it is happening with the recent release. Please share the version of XD and OS build that you're using.
It would be great if you could create a sample file and share it with me so that I can get it investigated.
Thanks,
Atul_Saini

I'm on Windows 10 and XD 54.0.12.5
I just experienced this yet again! I had a dropdown menu that was fully working with hovers. I haven't touched it since. Suddenly out of the items inside it (each one being the same component), only one reacts to hover. If I add more items to the dropdown using the same component, they work but for how long?
I'm literally spending ages reworking things that were finished over and over. To top this, due to the way XD works, every item I replace needs redoing the text override...twice, one for default and one for hover. This is insane.
Not good!

and here we go again..
Now it's the hover on the arrow buttons that you can see in the video. The left one works as expected yet the right one does this weird spin. They were BOTH working fine, suddenly the right one started to do this weird thing,
-I investigated the matter. Nothing could be found
-I rebuilt it, and everything was fine again
- One hour later it's back doing this thing
XD is going to drive me crazy.

so I investigate further. The arrow had a rotation of -360... I NEVER set that up and in any case even if I had, why was it working as expected originally? This is like playing whack-a-mole!
