How to add the app icon to Adobe XD app?

I'm creating an app prototype for a school assignment in Adobe XD, but I can't figure out where to add the actual app icon (the one that would display on a phone's list of apps) to the app before sharing. All the tutorials I've seen seem to show an older version that has a share icon where the user can click and then drag the icon into a box before creating the link, but this doesn't seem to be available on my version (presumably newer). Please help!

I'm not aware of XD ever having something like this as it cannot produce an installable app. Are you thinking of Animate, perhaps? This is a way to add app icons to AIR projects within that app which functions as you describe. Maybe share a screenshot?

XD can only share a webpage, and while webpages can specify an app icon for savings webpages to the iOS Home Screen... that's not what XD is designed for and has never had a feature to specify an icon for that. I'm curious what tuturial(s) you're referring to.

Thank you for reaching out. As suggested by others, Adobe XD allows you to create an interactive prototype of your designs. To create an actual app, you can share the design with a developer or use a third-party tool to code it yourself. Also, would you mind sharing the link to the tutorial you're referring to?
