I think you misunderstood. The free/trial version is very limited. I would happily pay for a license for Adobe XD only to remove those limitations, but it does not seem possible to buy a single license. You have to get some form of a subscription which includes apps we do not want and also increases the price.
When people have to write blog posts and articles like 'How to download XD', that says a lot about your company. Software should be easy to find and not hidden behind bloated subscriptions.
This is just honest feedback with good intentions.

I am sorry, but Adobe XD is not free, even if I follow the above link and download it, there is no way I can use it without the subscription charges.

This is still an issue and extremely confusing. I have been using Adobe XD Starter Plan for about 1 year. Today I had to uninstall the app because there was a glitch, and now I am unable to download the App with Starter Plan

@elanges241890786biqIt's extremely annoying. I can't believe Adobe is so bad at communicating with their customers, and to be honest, their own employees don't even know how things work. Apparently, the Starter Plan is in fact available for free for existing users (https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd-discussions/has-adobe-xd-been-discontinued/m-p/13837033#M720... > See reply from Rishabh_Tiwari on June 2, 2023), but whenever you contact Adobe (via chat or by phone) they don't know about that, and they keep saying that the Starter Plan is no longer available.
I was finally able to fix this issue after wasting hours. This is my experience, I hope it helps:
I contacted Adobe THREE TIMES and every time they confirmed that Adobe XD Starter Plan is no longer available. I explained that I am an existing customer and that I already have access to Adobe XD as part of my current subscription (I even told them that when log into my Adobe account I can clearly see that Adobe XD is included in my account) and every time I was told that it's not possible.
They kept repeating that Adobe XD is ONLY available as part of the Creative Cloud All Apps subscription, even for existing users.
I wasted 3 hours of my day dealing with this and getting in touch with Adobe through different channels. None of the employees I talked to, had the right information.
I ended up calling Adobe USA (I live in Europe, so very expensive call) and after a looooong conversation, they decided to send me the installation file, which worked just fine. But again, I wasted 3 hours of my day searching all the forums, getting in touch with Adobe via chat, and getting in touch by phone.
My advice: keep insisting. Send them the link I shared with you above. Keep repeating that you are an existing customer and that you have access to XD Starter Plan as part of your current subscription. Tell them to send you the installation file.
