I lost my whole day work because of adobe CC cloud issue. XD file not saving automatically in cloud

Hi, I saved my recent project work XD file in cc because of safety, but I lost my all whole day's work morning towards I keep updating my file based on the feedback and correction. Suddenly evening I can see latest changes are missing in the XD file, when I checked the saved history I was shocked I can see only two backups one in the afternoon and one in the evening time 😞 But yesterday for the same file, I can see the backup for each 2min gap. Is there any way can I get those latest files?

I am having SIMMILAR ISSUE.

 

I am working in Adobe XD file on the cloud. Designs I created off of hours and hours of work compleeltey gone. As if not been worked on it. Like if its been corrupted. Go to the adobe XD history log and open it in a new window still shows as of today as if nothing was done. The document shows over, and over again in all the history the same. But work was done during those times.

I lost a day's work due to Adobe CC cloud issues with XD file not auto-saving. Can I recover the missing recent changes from backups like yesterday?

I recommend checking local auto-saves on your device or contacting Adobe Support for assistance in recovering the missing XD file changes.

Hours of work creating designs have vanished completely as if the file was never touched. It seems like it may be corrupted. When I check the Adobe XD history log and open it in a new window, it still shows no changes made today. The document's history keeps repeating the same content, even though I did work during those times.

SAME EXACT SITUATION WITH ME.

 

I went back into my history log and all of the time stamps that it shows as a "back up" history, is still all the same in every supposedly time back up.

 

And i couldnt create a copy version on my local. it kept giving me an Error 2143

All of my Adobe software and cloud documents as well as Mac OS was with the latest sofware update.

 

I backed up all my tool presets, unistalled ALL of ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE. And re installed everything again. (About a 3 hour process)

 

Re worked everything again ( the 3 days of lost work) So far no repeated issue. But im not creating a local back up. As much as Adobe pitches its the best and safest way to work its just clearly not true. You cant trust the Adobe Cloud. 

 

This is what im working on. With the latest OS Venutura

Ugh, I totally understand how upsetting this must be—Adobe XD's cloud save usually feels so reliable, but when it fails like this, it's a huge setback 😣 Something similar happened with one of my design drafts for a jewellery collection I was working on for Tillie Beads. After that scare, I started saving locally as well as using versioning tools. I really hope Adobe support can help you recover those lost changes. Sometimes digging into the Creative Cloud assets page has helped me find earlier versions. Fingers crossed for you!
