Question

[Import] Can't import svg located in shared network

I spent some time trying to import a SVG file that was in a server shared folder. XD kept showing it was invalid svg.

Created a new project. Nothing.

 Uninstalled and reintalled XD. Nothing.

Downloaded random svg and was able to import it from my local downloads folder.

Copied the svg I wanted from shared folder to local folder, SVG imported.

I remember I was able to import SVG from network before, please fix this.

Hi Franco,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I tried reproducing the issue on my end and I was able to import the SVG from a network folder synced locally. So please collect and share system logs(https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html) so that we can investigate this for you. Also, please share the version of XD.

Hi,

I have the same issue.

As FrancoBits did, I tried to move my SVG icons from server shared folder to local folder and now SVG import works. Current XD version: v37.1.32

Thank you very much for sharing the your issue is resolved with XD 37.1 version.  Could you please try again Franco and let us know if that works for you as well?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika
