In XD, why does some text allow keyboard "shift key" changing of case, while other text does not?

Some text allows me to use standard Shift key uppercase/lowercase, while other text does not, and requires me to go to Object menu/Text/Uppercase and you ahve to do this one letter at a time. I can find no pattern or steps that explain this difference.

Hi @Matthew25030761zzha ,

Thank you for reaching out. The behavior you described regarding uppercase/lowercase conversion depends on the text's properties and settings. I tested this on my end if a text has a character style applied to it, then this behavior is expected. Please check if the character styles are used and let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks

Rishabh

Thanks, but that does not work. I tried deleting the "character style" from a paragraph, and it still won't let me change case from the keyboard.
