Hi can anyone help with this > I got this error today after opening XD once I tried to open it again and receive a license expired Popup saying ("Your developer license has expired. To continue to use this app, please renew your license.") Please note my creative cloud license is up to date and there doesn't seem to be any issues with my account. thanks
Can you try enabling side loading of application as described in the screenshot below? Let us know of it helped.

Hey! Thank you, there was similar error for Acrobat Pro DC to launch and this setting change did resolve that either. Bravo!
But to reach to this window was bit of a task.. here is how I did it.
Go to Windows settings option (gear icon at the start button side panel) Type on the search bar on top "For developers" the option auto popped up for "For Developers Settings" came up, clicked on it and got to this this window.
Thanks much again. Hope this helps.

This worked. The "For Developers" section is hidden on my Windows 10 Home OS version. So go to "Settings" and search for "For Developers" and you can find the screen there. And then enable the "Sideload apps" setting. And Bingo!

Ouch. Adobe didn't renew their XD developer license? How embarrasing! Please fix, as this is preventing me from working. This is the first time I've encountered this error since I started working here at my new company in 3 months.
This is on Windows 10.

I tried the solution that the support gave about setting up as a "sideload" but my system is already set to sideload.

Hi John.mb,
I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue after haveing sideloading enabled on the machine. By any chance are you using machine that it managed by your IT team? if this is the case then it could be possible that the domain level group policies are overwriting the local settings. If your IT make changes to the domain level then I should work fine for you after a reboot.
There are few more methods in the link below that can enable sideloading. Please try them and let us know if it works.

Hi. Sorry, I was unable to reply because your Forum section would log me in (with the correct username) and then when it returns it goes to the main Forum page, and I'm not logged in anymore. I tried for a few days, so today it works again, so they must have fixed this issue - I was also unable to get to a support person on chat as they kept passing me around to another queue.
Re: issue.
My machine isn't even on a domain, so there is no "admin/supervisor" restrictions at all. I was able to select DEVELOPER MODE (which is the third option) and somehow that seemed to work to get the new version up an running. It's quite strange, because it was working previously for a few days after I upgraded and then just stopped working.

Hello john.mb. Thank god it is still under development and we are getting regular updates, once it goes to stable version, adobe may start charging for subscription 🙂

I am receiving this message when trying to launch XD "Your developer licence has expired. To continue to use this app, please renew your licence." but all my licencing is up to date. My other Adobe applications seem to be working fine.
