Issue with updating links for large files - "You're disconnected. Check your internet connection..."

Hi all, I've been trying to update the share links for my larger files for the past few days with no luck. Mind you they are 100+ artboard files with lots of interactions. These files had no trouble updating before, but this issue suddenly occurred in the last few days.

 

Smaller files update without an issue. I think it could be a timeout issue of some sort due to how large my files are? I'll reiterate again, this wasn't an issue before.

 

What I've tried:

• Logging out of CC and all services, and relogging

• Tried different networks at home and at work (300+mbps upload and download)

• Uninstalling and reinstalling

Discovered the issue!

 

The culprit is the Kaspersky Internet Security app. It was somehow interfering with the connection. Had to disable it completely in order to update the XD link successfully.

 

It could be due to the built-in network security features in KIS messing around. As this pops up every time I disable KIS.

Sorry to hear about the trouble.Please update to the latest version of XD(57.0.12) which is released yesterday and try out the same scenario.
If the issue still persists even after the update then please share us the logs( https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html) , Recorded movie file, Machine details and also the testfile on which the error is observed.

Hi Ranjitha, thanks for the reply.

 

Unfortunately, I'm on the latest version already XD(57.0.12) and it still persists. I've sent the logs as requested.

 

A screenshot of my machine details is attached below, and the screen recording I've uploaded here.

 

I'm not able to send over the file, but can tell you the details.

 

Artboard Count: 166

Local File Size: 577 MB

Prototype Interactions: At least 2000+
