Missing typeface message

New Here ,

Hello everyone,

I meet my first problem with Adobe Xd since a few days.

For each launch of my desktop app, there is a warming message appearing at the bottom of the screen.

1 miss typeface. Show missing typefaces

This missing typeface il really common: it is Open Sans Semibold.

I tried many options: reinstall the typeface, change all my typefaces of the document with something else… but it change nothing. My typeface is working perfectly on others Adobe app, and on others Adobe Xd files I created after.

What should I do?

Hi Juliend_sk,

Sorry for the inconvenience that it has caused to you. I would request you to reinstall the font using Adobe Typekit and check if that works. Please check this link for information on managing fonts: - Typekit Help | Welcome to Adobe Fonts.

Please update this discussion in case you need further assistance.

Thanks,

Atul_Saini

Hi,

I'm not using Adobe Typekit ; the font is installed on my desktop Do you mean that only fonts downloaded with Adobe Fonts are concerned by the issue?

Hum. I would try to isolate which artboard or symbol has some rogue reference. Here is how I would try to locate it:

Copy an artboard into a new XD file. Save it and reopen it. If no error exists, continue with copying the next artboard. If the error exists, then you can drill down to locate the asset that references it.

My guts are saying it is a symbol that you are using that has the issue.

Good luck
