Hello,
I'm new to Adobe XD and I'm struggeling a bit in Prototype mode.
I would like to create a navigation item "About" that has a hover state, but also a toggle state, so that when I click on the item it changes color. In Prototype mode, I tried to create a wire from the navigation item "About" to the relevant artboard, but it didn't work. I figured by adding the toggle state, Adobe XD had already created a tap interaction wire and adding antother tap interaction would create a conflict.
Is it possible to create more than one tap interaction per item? Or should I just delete the toggle state? Is toggle state only meant for things like toggle switches and am I using it wrong?
Also, suppose you create a button component with multiple states and you create an instance from this component. When I want to edit the text in the instance button, I have to edit each state separately. The text change in the default state of the instance doesn't get applied to the other states automatically. Is this the normal way to do this? Or is there a better way?
Thanks in advance!

Hello @Pauline282429281swe, as one trigger can only be reserved for one action, it's not possible to add two targets/destinations for the tap action, it can either go to the toggle state or another artboard on tap, but not to both. If you're aiming to create an active state for let's say "about" button, I'd suggest changing its color in "about" artboard (since it's going to be an instance, it wouldn't affect other components, maybe creating an "active" state in the main button component and switching to that in required artboards would work) that way you could simulate an "active link/button" state on that page.
And I don't know a way of changing the texts in all states of an instance at one step, but I'm sure if any expert/designer knows a way, they'll update us. Happy designing!
