New to XD, having issues with Auto-Animation in Prototype Mode

Hi all, I'm following a course on Udemy to learn UX/UI and I'm having trouble with the auto-animate feature. Here's a link to my project: https://xd.adobe.com/view/769cb087-90c0-4163-a090-4e1e4fdfdbea-23cf/

My current assignment is for a simple animation. The arrow on the Confirmation page needs to slide across the screen. I have the arrows on both artboards named the same thing (A1) and I have the wire connecting from the first artboard (Confirmation) to the next artboard (Confirmation-1). Auto-animation is turned on and the trigger is set to Tap (for now).

When tapping on the arrow, instead of the arrow sliding across the screen like my instructor's does, the animation is choppy and it seems the arrow quickly disappears from one side and reappears to the next side.

Any insight would be helpful as this course is not super recent and my instructor does not often reply to the Q&A section.

TIA

Hi @sacredheartsclub ,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the auto-animate feature in Adobe XD. Based on your description, the animation might not be set up correctly. Here are some steps that might help:

  1. Check that the animation settings are correct. Select the arrow on the first artboard in the Prototype mode and then click the "Auto-Animate" option in the Properties panel. You can adjust the easing in prospects and the duration per your needs.
  2. Test the animation by previewing the prototype. Click on the play button at the top of the screen to preview the prototype, and then click on the arrow to see the animation.
  3. If you still have trouble with the animation, try breaking it down into smaller steps. For example, you could try animating the arrow to move a shorter distance first and then gradually increase the distance until it reaches its final position. This can help you identify any issues with the animation and make adjustments as needed.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

Thanks

Hey, your animation seems to be working fine, but it activates seemingly with timed transition when you tap the "Purchase" button. Did you get this fixed? If not, please elaborate on what the expected behavior should be, and if possible send us a link to the .xd file so we can take a look (upload to dropbox, google drive or something else and post it here).
