Objects are disappearing in preview mode

Grouped objects/components are there in the designs but they are disappearing when I view them in preview. 

 

It seems to be when I link the objects to another artboard they then disappear. 

 

This is really frustrating!! 

 

OS and Xd are all up to date. I've also restarted my computer numerous times 😞
