"Too many login attempts." on prototypes of coworker on leave

Hey there, me and my coworkers can't access all the prototype of a coworker because of a "Too many login attempts. Please try again later." warning. Unfortunately, that coworker is not easy to reach so the question is:

how long prototypes get locked because of the number of wrong attempts?

Is there anything else that can trigger that kinda behavior?
