rename layer shortcut

Hi

Is there any shortcut keys to rename layers in Adobe XD without double clicking on them ?

It would be very useful

Thanks for reaching out. As of now, I am afraid, we don't have a shortcut to rename layers. Having said that, I will share your feedback with the Engineering team and you can do that too by upvoting this request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/19700339-keyboard-...

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

Guys being Adobe and how long XD has been around. You are missing the basic things that speed up process and workflow as someone mentioned here. I want to love XD but it falters in the basics. Organization and flow. Copy Sketch that way and you will have an amazing product. I am forced to use XD at work. It can be slow and cumbersome. Double clicking on a layer/folder to rename. Having option to have pages! You guys make more money than ever due to the cloud subscriptions I don't understand the wait. You guys don't even have a preference section. I prefer to reverse zoom with my mouse but I can't change it. That option is given with Figma and Sketch. Prototyping is the strong point. Add an option to insert a component like sketch rather to to the assets page.

On a related topic, once you are in rename mode in Layers Panel you can hit Tab key to change to rename next layer (or Shift+Tab for previous layer). This makes it faster to rename a group of layers.
