Resizing Fixed Size text

Is there a way to resize a Fixed Size text object and have the text actually resize?

Right now only the text frame is resized. Holding Shift, or turning off responsive resize don't make it. Text always stay the same size.

Not with Fixed Size text. There's a feature request for that. Scale text area – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs

Only Auto Width text object scale for now. Hopefully this will change in future.

To add one more thing, Auto Width boxes can be scaled. Unless you're making multi-line text boxes, be sure to use Auto Width. To make Auto Width boxes, click when creating them (dragging creates Fixed Size which cannot be scaled).
