Setting width of layout grid

So I'm trying to create a layout grid with:

12 columns
30px gutters
1140px width

There doesn't appear to be a way of setting the overall width of the grid, which doesn't bother me *that* much as, in theory, I should be able to specify the left and right margins to set the grid width that way.

But whenever I try to specify the margins, XD will change the other values automatically. So I'll set the left margin to 70px, and then I'll set the right margin to 70px... but then when I do that, XD will then change the left margin to 76px BY ITSELF.

I've just updated XD to the latest version thinking it would fix the problem, but turns out it didn't. I even found a post on another forum from 2017 where someone was having the same kind of issue.

This, along with a few other issues, are making me wonder what is even the point is using this piece of software if it's gonna have bugs like this that go unfixed...
