Sharing multiple prototypes from a single XD file ?

Hello there,

I'm struggling with an issue for a while now: is there a way to share more than one prototype in the same XD file?

Let's say I have several user flows in my file. I'd like to be able to generate a link for each flow.

I tried to create a link with home artboard set on user flow A, then create a new link with home artboard set on user flow B.

Unfortunately, in the end all sharing links have the same home artboard (i.e. user flow B in my example).

I came to the conclusion that the only way is to have a specific XD file for each flow.

Any solution ?

If you create a new link (via New Link... option) after modifying the flow, would it work? (Although if you do this you won't be able to go back to update the first prototype link...)

this must be one of the more critical features pending...

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I am afraid, this feature is not available right now, however, we have already shared the feedback and our team is working on it.

I've been struggling with this problem too. In order to save my sanity, I've just started only having one flow, or varation per project file. This sometimes means I have to break out my files into multiple files. It's a pain in the butt, but it's much easier to manage than juggling all the different links in the "Share" tab, which I always seem to accidentally overwrite.

I create a menu screen with links to each flow within the document. However, if a screen is shared between the flows, I do have to duplicate it.

Thanks Chris!

I already did that in my last prototype. It's a good trick indeed 🙂

I just tested out your solution and it seems to work. It's strange because it's what I tried before posting here...

Anyway thank you for your response 🙂
