Tap trigger not working

I'm unable to add a tap trigger to a component state when it has a hover trigger. So if I have a menu text with a hover state, I can add a tap state with a link to an artboard but it won't work. Nothing happens when I click it. Also, I'm unable to chose None to transition, its grayed out.

It doesn't work. Tried two machines with same CC membership.

Sorry for the delay in response. That's strange that it's not working on two machines. I'd recommend updating XD to the latest version. Also, will it be possible for you to record a small video of the workflow, and what exactly is happening at your end and share it with us?

I'm always on latest XD version but my post was written july 08 when latest was 30.2.12.3. The latest version never changed anything, this problem has been there for a long time. Sorry for not being able to share project, corporate policy.
