Text Animation: Sentence appears one word at a time

Hi, 
I am building a prototype for a story telling application, where each board has one sentence. 

Looking for advice on how to add an effect such that the sentence appears word-by-word gradually. This is quite common in PowerPoint presentations, but not sure how to replicate it here. 

Any advice will be appreciated.
