The Adobe XD app seems to have issues displaying variable fonts

Hi, I’m currently designing an app in Adobe XD. Everything seems perfect, and when I view the prototype on my PC, it looks fine. However, when I try to open it on my phone using the app, all the fonts maintain their height but switch to regular weight. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Yeah, Xd has always had an issue with displaying fonts in the mobile app, as it renders them dynamically instead of rasterizing them like it works on the web prototype. You basically need to have the fonts available on the mobile device, if you want them to show up correctly.

 

One workaround would be to flatten the text elements and view them as vectors, which is a pretty bad solution. Another option is to simply open the web prototype through the mobile device and not use the Xd app. There are
