Time trigger does not work

New Here ,

I have an artboard that has a time trigger with a 2 sec delay. However, it works inconsistently and it is really odd - if you land on it from any element that is positioned in the top part of another artboard then it doesn't work. E.g. a Home button placed in the top menu on any page will take you to this artboard (Homepage) but the time trigger won't work; if I then move that same button to the middle of the page then it will take me to Home and the time trigger will actually work. It baffles me how the position of a linked element that takes you to an artboard can affect that same artboard's interactions.

Does anyone have an explanation/solution for this? To me, it seems like a bug.

Hi Lachezar,

we need more information to help you. Do you use the latest version of Adobe XD? Can you publish a screenshot or a short video? Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, unfortunately, I still need help. I tried everything I could think of but the problem persists.

I have attached two screen recordings. Recording1 shows how the interaction works correctly - the time delay starts a few seconds after landing on the home page. Note that I landed on the homepage after clicking the "Confirm and continue" button which sits in the bottom half of the previous page.

Recording2 shows how when you land on the homepage by clicking on an element that is in the top half of the previous page (the logo), the time delay does not get triggered automatically. It only starts working if I trigger it manually by clicking on the apple seed icon.

For some reason, where the position of the element that takes you to the homepage has an effect on the time delay. If the button is in the top half (logo), it does not work; if it is in the bottom half (Confirm button), it works. It looks like a very bizarre bug to me.

Thanks
