Unable to range-style Line Spacing and Paragraph spacing text

Whenever I need to bold/underline/format select highlight text in a text box, as soon as I try and change it (i.e. make a word bold) it makes the entire box of text bold instead of the highlighted selected text. Never used to happen but effectively I can't format copy within text boxes now. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi guys, I found a fix for this.

     

    Open another XD file (if one isn't open already), Go to a text box and bold/underline/colour the text you want within the text box. For some reason it works in the other file you opened (or have opened aleady). I have no idea why. Once you're done in the second file, go back to the primary file and selecting should work now.

      I have the same problem. I cannot selectively format sections of text within the same text box as far as line spacing is concerned. It's very tedious because it means having to create separate boxes for titles, subtitles and text, for e.g!

      1. What version of XD & OS are you on.
      2. Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
      3. Is this happening with a specific font or multiple fonts?
      4. Please share a small video of what exactly is happening at your end?
