Upload to Google and Android as a working app

Adobe XD: So we've created and prototyped our app with Adobe XD and it works great. So why can't we just upload it to google or apple and make it a working app. If I can build a functional website with muse, why not a functional app with XD?

what else do we have to do to actually make this a working app that can be uploaded? We don't have thousands of dollars to pay a developer...

Just so you know, what you're asking to do is difficult to do "well". Why? Creating a clickable prototype, versus a properly made website or app require very different coding behind the scenes:

  • Websites are made with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Native iOS apps are programmed with Swift.
  • Native Android apps are programmed with Java.

XD is meant to be primarily a "design" app so designers can focus on creating a good design, rather than making something work in a browser or a phone.

Hi, yasmine4225-

Adobe XD is really geared toward designing, prototyping, and sharing, and iterating through that process very quickly. Most apps actually require developers, as there are a number of optimizations that a developer can implement that vary wildly from app to app. If you're interested in this, you can upvote this: Export interactive prototype as native mobile app (iOS, Android) – Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Reque...
