XD almost unusable on Windows 10 because of erratic touch pad behavior
XD version: 9.1.12.3
Computer: Dell Precision 5530, Core I9, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro P2000 w/ 4GB GDDR5, 4K Touchscreen
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 1803 Build 17134.137
I'm switching to the Windows version of XD after being on Mac. I've found XD to be almost unusable on Windows because of inconsistent and erratic behavior when using my laptop's touch pad.
Attempting to pan around using a two finger gesture as I did on Mac does not pan, but instead either draws a selection rectangle in a random part of the story board or, seemingly if there is an image visible at the time, will start to move the image around the screen even if the image is not selected and my cursor is not over the image.
Holding the space bar and swiping with two fingers will pan the story board, but the action is excessively choppy and once I get the board positioned where I want it, and release the space bar, the board will jump to another part of the board. Panning in this manner only works about 50% of the time at best. Other times, I have to hold the space bar, and then left click and hold the touch pad in order to pan.
Also, panning using the touch screen of the computer does not function at all.
I have verified that my computer is fully updated with all of the available drivers from Dell. And Windows is also fully updated.
I'm quite disappointed in this behavior as I enjoyed using this program on Mac, but the Windows version seems to be, at least for me, unusable at this time.
