XD constantly tries to save cloud document, causing terrible performance hit

Hello,

I loved the idea of Cloud Document feature and wanted to create my next design as a Cloud Document. However, I've realized that it constantly tries to save the cloud document (it says Saving... on document title in window) which causes a 1-2 second complete hang each time it tries to save the doc (which tries to save about every 10 seconds), making the whole design experience unacceptably sluggish. The document is a very small one with just a few iPhone screens, nothing complicated or large.

I've saved the file locally, giving up on cloud document feature, and the problem went away instantly. I've saved to cloud again and it came back so I'm sure it's the cloud documents feature, constantly trying to save it (as it hangs when it says "Saving...").

I'd love to use the feature but in it's current state it's unacceptably slow to use.

What is the OS and XD version of your machine?
Is it happening with all the cloud documents or with a specific document?
Have you tried the same on a different machine?
