XD is just hanging

I tried opening created files but it just hanging, it just shows spining beach ball(On mac).

I uninstalled it, removed the plugin data. Gave someone else the same file and it opens up by them so file isnt corrupted. Also on the latest version 40.0.22. Any ideas why it wouldn't work and anyone else have the same problem?

Yes. I'm also facing issues in XD after the latest update (40.0.22). Though my issues appear only when I'm in prototype mode. The design mode works perfectly fine. The more interaction I have in the artboard the more it hangs. Will there be a quick fix for this from Adobe?
