XD text tool not responding and freeze app 40.1.22
I don't know what got updated or what but XD is not running properly. The text tool is not responding and the app does not respond, the app will not crash though. Text works in Illustrator and Photoshop just fine.

XD 40.1.22
Edition Windows 10 Pro

Memory usage seems high when I try to use the text tool. I have to force quit with the task manager.

I've tried:
- Uninstalling XD
- XD 40.0.22 & 39.0.12 (both use to work fine but do not now)
- Uninstalling XD (only) with Adobe Clean Tool
- Different file types, cloud and local
- Deactivating and activating fonts (using FontBase to manage fonts that are not on adobe fonts)
- Update dating graphic cards and anything else I could find new drivers for
For the life of me, I can't wrap my head around what could be causing this but I hope someone out there can HELP!!
