Just updated both XD and Zeplin to the latest version yesterday.

When I tried to export to zeplin, I keep getting this error message.

Everything was working fine prior to the updates.

I tried again today and getting the same result.

Please help! thanks.

My OS is Windows.

Hi even i was facing same problem.

I found a solution to this this is happening due to a problem with Environment Variable.

1. go to EDIT SYSTEM ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES.

2. click on Environment Variables.

3. Under System Variables click on Path.

4. Copy the Existing Path where windows has been Installed

eg- Windows\system32.

5. Click on New and create one more path and paste the name i.e., Existing and Newly created should be same.

Save and then Restart Windows. The issue will be Resolved.

Thanks

First I've Deleted afew of my latest artboards, then I was Able to Upload again.
So I've Started to bring them back with Ctrl+Z and this time I delete them one each time until I find the artboards that cause the problem.. then Start to digging in that artboard and I tried delete Component and Design Element one by one and each time I wasn't able to upload my design to zeplin until I delete all Triangle Icons in my design and Boooom Design uploaded easily.

I think Zeplin couldn't  Render Triangle Icon that I made With XD Triangle Tool. I'm Going to try use a triangle icon from flaticon to see it workd or no.

Hey bro,
I had the same issue, this error pops up when you have started to use your last XD project. Like you did the last project ABC in XD and have been exporting it to Zeplin. Now you have started to create the new artboards in ABC project for XYZ project. There the error comes in, as Zeplin gets puzzeled, it reads the old project files as well. So, delete the other art boards which are related to ABC project. Just keep the XYZ artboards. Cheers!!

Hi. I'm just facing this problem.

I am update my Zeplin to the latest version, then Restart it.

After that, you can import designs from Adobe XD like before.

Hi Amitb, Sorry that you are unable to export your artboards here. As mentioned in the screenshot, have you tried to get in touch with Zeplin using support@zeplin.io?

Thanks,

I have same issue. You must save your cloud data to local folder and after this, you could export.

Please save document to local pc first then open and export to zeplin, will works fine, zeplin cant gather resources when saved on the cloud.

Hi Vicp86060206,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot here, could you please try to roll back to v 12 for Adobe XD and check if that is working fine. It would help us find if there are issues with Adobe XD or Zeplin. Here are the instructions to install the previous version: - Install previous version of your Creative Cloud app.

I would also request you to create a simple file and then export it to Zeplin and then try to import it into it.

Awaiting your response.

Thanks,

Hi Atul

Thanks for the reply. Today i started deleting some Artboards from my project and the export to zeplin is working again.

But even after i removed all contents from the artboard, the error message still appears.

After I completely removed that specific artboard, i'm getting new error message (i'm guessing it's from some other artboard).

My only solution at the moment is to identify which artboard is causing the problem and basically I have to remove it and re-create a new one.
