Anima plugin issues with hover and gifs in XD.

In Adobe XD (Windows), when I press the play button in the top right hand corner my gif does not move but my hover button does. However, when I click preview in browser (under anima plugins) my gif moves but my hover button does  not work. Please advise.

Animated GIFs are not natively supported within Adobe XD, so previews inside XD will not play animated GIFs.

I've not used the Anima plugin, but maybe there's a problem with how it integrates with XD's hovers. You should probably reach out to them about issues with their plugin.
