Component names Not updating or "Renaimg" in the new version

Hi, once i updated to the new version when i try to rename the components ican rename and when i try to click on another compnent to rename the first one chnged to the old name !!!! i can not rename the compnenets please see this video: Video for XD component Bug

    Hi Alaa,

    Sorry for the issue you are facing.

    There is already a bug logged and our team is working on the issue.

    Till then can you try this workaround:

    - As you double click and update custom name . Do enter before coming out from asset panel. 

    I hope it would be helpful.

      Thanks for reply, Yes "enter" helps to save the component name, hope this wil be resolved soon in the next update.

        Hi there,

         

        Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues while renaming the assets in XD. I am unable to reproduce the same at my end on the windows machine. In the meantime, I'll ask my colleague to check on macOS. Would you mind telling us if it's happening with all files with this specific file? Could you please check this on a new file? 

         

        We will try our best to investigate.

          i did upgraded to "Catalina" and i reinstalled XD, deleted all the prefrences, tried new file with simple shapes,

          but still the component and asset renaming is not possible , i can not work like taht? nightmare 😞 ,
