Horizontal scrolling in XD 30.0 on Windows

Updated XD (30) but can't make the horizontal scroll feature to work

I can make the vertical scroll to work (with mouse scroll when previewing), but the horizontal doesn't work. Am I missing something?

Hello,

I believe I have found the solution for Windows 10 and on Desktop computers. If you hold your scroll wheel, your pointer will turn into hand and you will be able to move horizontally.

Not working here, using Adobe XD on web, Chrome 86.0.4240.183, Ubuntu 20.04.1

Shift + scroll does nothing, and I can't drag the screen to scroll horizontally.

Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, we are having trouble reproducing this issue internally. Could you please provide us with the following information, so we can investigate further?

an XD file where the issue is reproducible for you;
is it the desktop app or the web app where the scroll group does not scroll?
the browser name and version (if the issue is with the web app);
Windows version;
XD version (Menu -> Help -> About XD).

The "Horizontal Scroll" and "Vertical Scroll" works good. But the "Horizontal and Vertical Scroll" doesn't work.

Awe man! got my hopes up.

Works in XD preview now but not in Chrome or Firefox. And now I've lost the ability to nudge it over a little bit at a time by clicking my scroll wheel left/right.

Glad you're using Shift Scroll wheel as a temporary workaround. We're adding click and drag support on the Web very soon, team is working on this now.

Hi All,

Thanks for your patience. In the latest dot release, we have added the ability to scroll or drag horizontally using a mouse. Please update to the latest version of XD which is 30.2.12.3.

Many bugs:

Horizontal scroll on Windows (browser or preview mode);
Not showing fixed objects, ex (mobile nav) (test links on iPhones): necessary change the zoom of the device;
Not showing float objects (preview);

Love the new update with the scroll group features. Saves a ton of time.

My questions is this...

Is there a way to enable a click and drag when previewing your prototype?

My touch screen works and the horizontal scroll wheel on my mouse works but trying to click and drag to scroll doesn't. When sending this out for testing, other users may not have a touch screen or horizontal scroll wheel.

It took me a minute to figure this out and though I was doing something wrong in creating a scoll group.

Im experiencing problems with the group scroll, ive downloaded the Demo file "Notes-App-Demo.xd" and the vertical scrolling is working fine but the horizontal scroll is not working - at all, ive also noticed the bunch of items ive selected as a group scroll with text, the fonts looks strange, kind of blury and not clear.

please advice.
