Dear Adobe XD Team,

Is there a way to fix the overlay position so that when you scroll it's not out of position?

Thank you.

Tony

Hi Tony,

Could you please share the link of the prototype in a private message so that we may check it and help you appropriately?

Thanks,

Here is a link. Notice how when you scroll down a little and click the menu selection box, the overlay submenu has moved.

How is that a correct answer? This is an unresolved issue. It's currently embarrassing to send out protoypes because overlays jump around all over the place. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Agreed, there's no correct answer nor resolve here yet.

I think this would be a more fitting uservoice link: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/34658008-overlay-p... (although now closed because there is a work-around, which is not always usable)

As in the link above, Adobe's employee suggested to use a component and embed whole overlay in a component state instead of using overlay. This might work for simple elements (like submenu).
