Padding rules between Icons(any shapes) and Texts

Hello Everyone,

I want to move my text "Ruk" a 16px away from the Icon as shown in the attached image.

Please help me Which method will be correct for maintaining pixel precision.

Hi Veenpermand,

I would say method 2 would give you the accurate pixel distance.

If you use the pink guiding numbers which show up between objects they calculate between the edge of the selection area which isn't necessarily the edge of the actual object.

Not exactly the solution you were looking for, but see Position Elements on Artboards using Grids in Use artboards and grids in Adobe XD.​ Let us know if this feature helps you with what you are trying to do.
