AIR 2.0.3 has been released.  You should get an automatic update notification but you can also grab the installer at http://get.adobe.com/air.

Please let us know if you run into any issues.

Hi,

I just installed the new release successfully, but then my Voddler application stopped working. I see now that they (voddler.com) warns about an issue with the new Air. Only solution by now is to reinstall the previous version of Air. Can you please direct me to that installer? I don't seem to find it anywhere.

Sincerely,

Arne

Hi Arne,

Sorry you running into problems.  I haven't heard of any issues with Voddler and AIR 2.0.3, can you point me to their tech doc that says not to use the latest version of AIR?

As for downgrading, you can get the AIR 1.5.3 installer on our Archived Runtime and SDK page.

Thnx for your answer!

This is the link to Voddler telling not to upgrade to AIR 2.0.3: http://www.voddler.com/help/topic/2749256203818016619

After some searching I found descriptions on how to get rid of the whole installation (both Voddler client and AIR), and start a fresh installation wich includes the AIR 2.0.2-version. But still I get the "Content security error. Too many failed attempts. ...  error 3305 - 127" when I try starting a movie. I see on the Voddler forum that more people are having a problem with this, so I guess I will have to wait for an update of the Voddler client?

BTW, I run Win 7.

And one more thing: When I remove the AIR 2.0.2/2.0.3 and install the AIR 1.5.3 from your link I get this AIR error: "This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance."

Thanks for the link to the Voddler tech support document.  This issue has been logged internally as #2691505 and we expect it should be addressed in our next release.

The content security error sounds like something coming directly from Voddler.  I would definitely contact them for further info on this error.

As for the "This installation of this application is damaged..." error, I assume this appears when you try and launch Voddler with AIR 1.5.3 installed.  If this is the case, then Voddler was built using AIR 2 and requires the AIR 2.0.2 (or above) runtime to function.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi aabarreiros,

I replied to this post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/730848?tstart=0 while a go,. If you can provide your sample code that I can see your problem, it will speed up our investigation. If you can provide your .air app itself, it would help too. Please attach your sample code and/or .air file in email but not with file extention .zip (it will be rejected by firewall). My email is hkudo@adobe.com.

thank you,

Hitomi

Hi,

The sample code that Mihai Balan has post reproduces the error, i just need to use it with the image that i have attached 5 minutes ago to repoduce the error, but the error just happens on the installed version, on debug works fine.

Thanks in advance
