artemisjsextension.cpp throwing errors

Hi

I've installed Flash CS4 to compile a project which my team of developers have been working on.

When I try going to the AIR settings in Properties (or in the publish settings for AIR), i get a 'javascript error message', about artemisjsextension.cpp missing an argument on line 407.

The follow JavaScript error(s) occurred:

At line 407 of file "ArtemisJSExtension.cpp": exportSWF: Argument number 1 is invalid.

I've googled and found nothing about this.

Am i missing some prerequisites for AIR to work on my machine?

Matthew.

Do you have the AIR 1.5 update for Flash Professional?

Look here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html

Do you have the AIR 1.5 update for Flash Professional?

Yes, I installed that before I tried the first compile.

Also, my machine at home is currently running in 'trial' mode, as i'm in the process of purchasing a serial code. Not sure if it would make any difference.

Trial mode shouldn't make a difference. It sounds like there's something wrong with either your install of Flash CS4 or the AIR update.

Hello

I've been getting the exact same problem.

While playing around with a few things using a random trial and error approach I fixed it.

I had just reset the locations for the published file swf file to "Use Default Names" and it suddenly worked.  This may have been a coincidence, but if you have the same problem, it's worth a try.
