Can We Finally Get This Fixed?

Hello,

This bug has been around for a long time, and it seems like it should be a high priority to fix, as it deals with performance. Using the proposed work arounds are not really work arounds when you have a lot of files to download and save. Any reason this has been deferred for so many times?

And also, there appears to be no way to recieve events from the FileStream object unless you open the file asynchronously. Any comment on this long time problem?

The bug has been fixed and the build is available at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html, please give it a try and let us know if you will face any issue.
